Keffiyeh Folded

Keffiyeh Folded

A Keffiyeh was folded and sewn into a Western necktie.  From an aesthetic point of view, I can imagine this tie being purchased as a souvenir from a trip to the Middle East or from some fashionably trendy store in New York City.  At the same time, this tie might raise controversial questions given its cultural, historical and territorial associations.
